Book em' boys

I like books

they are really neato

thats why i was real determined to work in a book store

i worked there on monday, but brain does this thing when i work which is automated mode

(i learnt this in education)

where what i do everyday happens so regularly (if you get me, im getting kinda confusing) that it goes into my working memory and eventually goes into my automated memory

an example is driving, to and from somewhere familiar maybe like school or shops to home

you dont notice the car ride

its like a blank part of your memory it just happens and you move on from it

thats what happens when i work

i just do it and wait for it to end and, i forget customers like, 5 minutes after serving them (short term memory!!!)
and you wont believe the amount of times i say

"hi" "thatll be $$$$, cash or card" (if card) "saving or credit" "Pin or sign" "would you like a bag" "have a nice day"

Or "Hi this is Maria from dymocks parramatta, the book you special ordered has arrived, if you would like to pick it up, you can, or try calling us back at 96## %9@9"

So ANYWAYS READING

I wasnt always an avid reader cause i used to think reading was lame

it turns out i was lame

but i did love to read

i didnt read goosebumps but i read fear street which is way good!!
i read about werewolves and vampires and evil twins who made out with a guy then poured honey on him and put fire ants on him

yeah i liked it FFAAA-RRREAAKKKK-kAAYYYYEEE

and i also read books aboutt bands and love and fake boyfriends and yeah reading was super fun and i didnt notice that i enjoyed reading til now

and the most recent book ive read is Fault in out stars which i zipped through (compared to fucking lolita!!!)

Its ok, not really for me, it was tooo lovey dovey, although it was about cancer, it didnt really twinge my heart and the points it was supposed to, i guess i love thicker tragedy

im also starting to read Looking for Alaska although ive already begun American Psyco and Lolita and Pride and prejudice.

Not to mention ive just started on trainspotting

man i suck haha
